Overview:
The Change Enablement Officer plays a critical role in ensuring successful delivery of transformation
initiatives by focusing on the people side of change. This includes changes to business processes,
systems, technologies, job roles, and organization structures. You will support the design and
implementation of change strategies that drive adoption and minimize resistance, working closely
with project teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders
Key responsibilities:
Change & Strategy Planning:
- Develop and implement change enablement plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and readiness assessments.
- Identify change impacts and develop strategies to address risks, resistance, and capacity challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers and business leaders to align change activities with the overall delivery plan.
Stakeholder Management:
- Identify and engage key stakeholders and change champions across all levels of the organization.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and one-on-one sessions to support stakeholder alignment and buy-in.
- Monitor stakeholder sentiment and feedback, escalating issues where necessary.
Communication & Engagement:
- Create clear, tailored communication materials (emails, presentations, intranet updates) to articulate the case for change and its benefits.
- Support leadership messaging and ensure timely, consistent updates throughout the change journey.
- Manage feedback loops and provide two-way communication channels to encourage engagement
Training & Support:
- Assess training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of learning materials and sessions.
- Work with HR and L&D teams to integrate change into onboarding or ongoing development programs.
- Ensure post-implementation support structures are in place (e.g., champions, FAQs, helpdesks).
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track adoption, usage, and feedback to measure change effectiveness and readiness.
- o Provide reports and updates to project teams and leadership on progress, issues, and
- successes.
- o Recommend corrective actions where adoption or impact is off track.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational Change, Business, Psychology, HR, or a related field.
- Experience in change management or enablement within a transformation, IT, or consulting
environment. - Familiarity with management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin, PROSCI).
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse
stakeholders. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating training and
communications materials.
Desirable:
- Certification in change management (e.g., PROSCI, APMG).
- Experience with digital transformation projects or cloud/SaaS implementations.
- Understanding of Agile and project management principles.
- Experience with internal comms tools or collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams,
Confluence, SharePoint).
