Role purpose

The Implementation Consultant supports the delivery teams by assisting with the analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to ensure successful solution implementation. The role focuses on requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis, and supporting testing and deployment activities. This is an entry-level to early-career role, ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in business analysis within a structured implementation and delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities


Business Analysis & Requirements Support

  • Assist with gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
  • Support stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement clarification sessions
  • Maintain accurate documentation including BRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows


Process Mapping & Documentation

  • Document current (“as-is”) business processes and workflows
  • Support the design of improved (“to-be”) processes to address inefficiencies
  • Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and up to date


Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to identify trends and insights
  • Prepare basic reports and analysis to support decision-making
  • Assist senior analysts with data validation and interpretation


Testing & Implementation Support

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and scripts
  • Log, track, and assist with resolving defects during testing phases
  • Assist with solution rollout activities and post-implementation support


Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior business analysts, project managers, developers, and testers
  • Communicate requirements clearly between business and technical teams
  • Support internal teams and external clients during implementation activities


Continuous Learning & Improvement

  • Learn and apply business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and BA standards

Key Skills & Competencies


Technical / Hard Skills

  • Requirements gathering and documentation
  • Business process mapping
  • Basic data analysis and reporting
  • UAT support and defect tracking
  • Tools exposure:
    o JIRA, Confluence (or similar)
    o Excel (intermediate)
    o SQL / Power BI / Tableau (advantageous, not required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (e.g. Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics)
  • Entry-level experience or 0–2 years in business analysis, implementation, or related roles
  • Exposure to project or implementation environments is advantageous
  • Internship or graduate programme experience welcome
