The Intermediate Product Analyst is responsible to bridge business needs, product development, and engineering by translating requirements into product capabilities and solution designs.

Working arrangement: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in our Midrand office and 2 days remote.
Commencement date: 01 July 2026


Overview:
The Intermediate Product Analyst is responsible to bridge business needs, product development, and engineering by translating requirements into product capabilities and solution designs. This role is suited to someone with strong analytical capability and experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and product delivery

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and document product features and requirements
  • Support product discovery initiatives
  • Write and maintain user stories
  • Contribute to backlog prioritisation and refinement
  • Document product capabilities and solution designs
  • Facilitate requirements workshops with stakeholders
  • Translate client needs into platform capabilities
  • Support implementation and delivery teams
  • Ensure clear alignment between business needs and product solutions

Qualifications & Experience:


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in:
    o Product Analyst
    o System Analyst
    o Technical Business Analyst
    o Implementation Consultant
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices
  • Experience working with stakeholders across functions
  • Ability to produce clear, structured solution designs
  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    o Information Systems
    o Computer Science
    o Engineering
    o Business / Commerce (with systems exposure)
  • Preferred / Advantageous:
  • Experience with Agile tools such as:
    o Azure DevOps
    o Jira (or similar)
  • Experience in process modelling and solution design
  • Exposure to hybrid (Agile + traditional) delivery frameworks
  • Experience working across product and implementation teams

  • Quality and clarity of solution designs and requirements
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions
  • Contribution to backlog quality and prioritisation
  • Effectiveness in supporting product discovery and delivery


Technical Skills

  • Strong documentation and modelling capability
  • Experience with Agile tools and backlog management
  • Understanding of system flows and solution architecture (functional level)

  • Confidence in facilitating workshops and discussions
